Laura

Meet Laura! One of our wonderful veterinary nurses who has been caring for animals in the Port Macquarie Hastings region since 2021. Laura is passionate about providing the best possible care to every patient and enjoys working closely with both pets and their families during their visit to the clinic.

Laura has a particular interest in surgery and hospital care, and loves being involved in helping patients recover and feel comfortable while they’re staying with us. Her calm and compassionate nature makes her a fantastic support for both animals and their owners.

Outside of the clinic, Laura is a true animal lover with a bit of a personal zoo at home, including two dogs, three horses, and ten birds. When she’s not busy caring for her animals, she enjoys horseback riding, hiking with her husband and their dogs, and spending time in their garden filled with fruit trees, herbs, spices, and beautiful flowering bushes.

Fun fact: Laura’s home garden produces so many fruits and herbs that there’s almost always something fresh growing or ready to harvest.
