Meet Dr Malongo! One of our newest veterinarians who recently graduated from the University of Queensland and has already brought plenty of enthusiasm to the team. Originally from Botswana with Zambian roots, Dr Malongo has always had a deep love for animals and is excited to begin his veterinary career caring for pets in our community.

While his very first dream was to become a carpenter, Dr Malongo soon realised his true calling was veterinary medicine, particularly surgery, where he could combine his hands-on skills with his passion for helping animals. As a new graduate, he’s eager to keep learning, growing, and providing the best possible care to every patient he meets.

Outside of the clinic, Dr Malongo is a big fitness enthusiast and enjoys staying active whenever he can.

Fun fact: During one of his adventures, Dr Malongo was once chased by a kudu — the majestic African antelope — proving he’s just as quick on his feet as he is dedicated to staying fit!
