Tammy

Meet Tammy! Our wonderful Practice Manager here at Oxley Highway Vets who keeps the clinic running smoothly and our nursing team operating like a well-oiled machine. Tammy has been veterinary nursing for an impressive 17 years and even spent time working in Emergency Animal Centres in Canberra before joining the Oxley Highway team in 2013.

Tammy is passionate about animal welfare and supporting both pets and their owners. Alongside managing the clinic, she has also volunteered as a carer with Port Macquarie Animal Welfare and is our biggest advocate for the RSPCA, proudly organising the clinic’s annual cupcake fundraiser each year.

At home, Tammy is kept very busy with her beautiful family, including her son William and a lively crew of pets. Her household includes Lulu the 13-year-old Tonkinese cat, rescue cat Odin, Schnitty the Mini Dachshund (short for Schnitzel Von Crumb — and yes, he has a very low tum!), and their recently adopted Mini Foxie, Maddy, who is 15 years young.

Fun fact: When she’s not busy chasing William around or running the clinic, Tammy enjoys scuba diving and baking delicious sugar cookies.
